After taking a few weeks off for the holidays, Sunday nights for High School Ministry resume on Sunday, January 11th!
Our Wednesday night Middle School groups resume! We will be back on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm! Come check out our middle school groups and get plugged in!
Our Annual Middle School Nerf War will be on Saturday, January 24th from 7-10 pm. It’s always a great time and this is a great event to invite your friends to! Bring your Nerf arsenal, assemble your squad, and come out for the Nerf War!
On Saturday, January 31st, the high school ministry will host our annual Trivia Night fundraiser. This year, we are raising funds for our spring break mission trip to the Dominican Republic. The theme for this year’s Trivia Night is 90’s. Doors open at 6:30 to check out the silent auction, and trivia starts at 7 pm! Bring your team, relive the 90’s and have a fantastic night to help support our high school students headed on the mission trip!
There will be 3 bonus points awarded to the team with the best 90’s theme costumes!
The WKND, a middle school winter retreat, is February 6-8 at White Mills Christian Camp. We join with several area churches to put on the Winter Retreat. It’s a great time full of worship, teaching, games, fun, food and more!
Cost is $85

On Sunday, November, 30th, our high school group will gather for Friendsgiving!
We’ll provide the main course and we encourage everyone else to bring a dish to share! It could be a traditional Thanksgiving dish or something completely different!

Before the end of the year gets crazy with holidays, finals and extra events, we end our Wednesday night programming for Middle School. Our last meeting will be Wednesday, November 12th.
We will celebrate together and play games as our last time together on Wednesday nights until next year!
Fern Creek has partnered with a couple other area churches to put on the Fall Retreat at White Mills. Our theme for the weekend is Campfire Stories and we will be looking at the life of Peter, specifically the Call of Peter, The Struggle of Peter, and The Comeback of Peter. Join us for games, for fun, for awesome worship and incredible weekend diving into the life of Peter!
Cost: $60 which includes a T-shirt!

Middle School is headed to Activate on Saturday, September 20th. Meet at Activate at 3:45. We start at 4 and then after our 75 minute time block, we will head across the parking lot to Chick-fil-A!

It’s Parent Night at HSM on Sunday, August 24th from 6-8 pm! Join us for dinner, a parent meeting where you will meet the high school ministry leaders, hear about upcoming events, and some important information, and then stay and experience what happens on Sunday nights in high school ministry! We’ll play a game together, worship together and finish the night with teaching. Please RSVP by August 20th so we can ensure we have enough food for everyone!
On Sunday, August 10th after 3rd service, we will have our Middle School Ministry parent meeting and lunch. We will welcome our new 6th grade parents along with all the other parents of middle schoolers and introduce our middle school ministry team, give important information and tell you where to find it. On Sunday, August 10th, all grades will promote up. So we will welcome our new 6th graders on Sunday morning and we will welcome our new 9th graders on Sunday night.

This is one of our last events before Promotion Sunday, and all middle school students are invited (including our incoming 6th graders and outgoing 8th graders)! We love serving our community and Saturday, July 26th is a great opportunity to do so through School Blitz!
